Join us for a Women's creative art retreat on the banks of the Truckee River October 1st at Truckee River Regional Park. This is the ultimate girls trip! Invite your friends and family and enjoy connection, creativity, relaxation and renewal! Enjoy yoga, creative workshops, sound bowl healing experience, a delicious made-local lunch, drinks and of course time to enjoy and explore the flora and fauna of the Truckee River. Join us for Saturday's Retreat, or stay the weekend and join us Friday evening for a wine tasting "Meet & Greet" at Truckee River Winery and 2 nights in a 5-bedroom Truckee cabin home, complete with hot tub, game room and multiple decks to enjoy.

Art & Soul Retreats are for women looking to nourish their BODY, MIND & SOUL. Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy some relaxing and creative fun. Whether it's kids, career, spouses or just the need for some "me time". Attendees range in age and art experience levels. Many participants bring their friends or family; Sisters, Daughters, Mothers and Friends. We also have had solo participants who leave with friends and have come back to later events together! Art & Soul workshops are designed so that everyone can succeed with little or no previous experience. We plan and prepare everything with attention to detail, so you can relax and enjoy. We limit retreat attendance to 25 participants to allow for more connection between participants and event workshops.

Gather Studio & Events

Owner of Gather Studio and Events. Meleya unites women through creative art workshops throughout Northern California. She teaches a variety of mediums. Her workshops provide a creative outlet for women of all ages and experience levels.

Gyöngyi

Gyo Harmony Sound & Healing Arts

Owner of GyoHarmony ~ Sound and Healing Arts of Truckee. Gyongi offers various yoga sound healing classes with some amazing Yoga and sound healing teachers. Gyongyi will be teaching yoga and the sound healing experience.

Yoga

Arrival, check-in coffee and other beverages provided. Morning Yoga Class: Gentle yoga style to help your body get out of stress-mode, release tension, calm the nervous system, gain clearer thinking, and even restore an overall sense of balance in your body, the mind and the soul.

Macrame & Mimosa's

Macrame & Mimosas: Relax and enjoy connection with a morning Macrame workshop & Mimosas. We will be creating a simple hoop or driftwood wall hanging. You will choose from a variety of colors to create your own piece, this is perfect for enjoying time with friends or family or connecting with other particpants. No experiece required, this is a beginner level, simple project with plenty of time to relax and unwind.

Acrylic Pour Workshop

Acrylic Paint Pour Workshop: Learn how to create beautiful abstract art with the paint pour method. Let go of control and go, with the flow! With this fun art you will choose your own paint colors and learn how to create the geode effect with a variety of glass, rocks and glitter. No experience necessary.

Crystal Candle Workshop

Crystal Candle Workshop: Each participant will get to hand pour 4 crystal candles with natural soy wax. You will have your choice of a variety of crystals and botanicals to add to create your candles from rose quartz, amethyst, sage, lavender, rose petals and more.

Smudge Stick Workshop

Smudge Stick Workshop: Utilizing ingredients from Mother Nature we will be creating sage smudge sticks. Traditionally burned in spiritual practices and to cleanse spaces of negative energy, the sage aroma ushers in harmony and peace.

Closing- Sound Healing

Closing Sound Healing: performed with singing bowls, gongs and other shamanic healing instruments. Sound healing helps ease the mind and effortlessly takes you to a deep meditative state where your healing mechanism gets activate and it will rejuvenate every cell of your body.

Enjoy your Truckee getaway in this 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath Truckee cabin home with a hot tub, game room and multiple decks to lounge on and enjoy. Join us for complimentary wine tasting small bites "Meet and Greet" Friday at 4pm at Truckee River Winery. Lite breakfast Saturday and Sunday provided. Includes snacks and beverages. Dinners Friday and Saturday are not included and are at your leisure so you can explore the many culinary options in Truckee.
